Lauren from the University of St Andrews would love Room to Be to be a part of her research looking at sustainable design and community space, arguing they are not only produced through formal planning or architecture, but through everyday practices of care, gathering, and shared use.

"Room to Be stood out to me as a particularly relevant example of this kind of practice-led, community-oriented approach to space, where use, interaction, and collaboration are central to how the environment is formed and understood."
